Welcome to the National Bee Informed Partnership Annual Survey

Thank you for participating in this National Colony Loss Management Survey organized by the Bee Informed Partnership and sponsored by the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA).

The Bee Informed Partnership is an extension project that endeavors to decrease managed honey bee colonies loss.

Some of you may be contacted independently by the National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) of the USDA to participate in their first quarterly colony loss survey. We encourage all beekeepers contacted by NASS to answer both BIP and NASS surveys.

The red * indicates required questions.

Do not use your browser's Back button but rather the "Back" button in the survey page.

If you leave your computer unattended for a long period of time, the survey may time out.

This survey has two parts:

1. Colony Loss survey (takes 10 minutes to complete and continues efforts made during the last 8 years)

2. Management survey (takes 20 minutes to complete and asks management questions in an attempt to find factors that contribute to or reduce losses)

When completing the colony loss survey you will be given the option to continue on to the management survey. We hope you do, but you are under no obligation to do so.
You will not be able to access the Management Survey at a later time if you stop after the Colony Loss Survey.

If you complete the whole survey, you will have the opportunity to print your responses or have them be sent to you by email.

Once again, thank you for your participation.
